I’ll never forget the Christmas party of ‘89.

I was up for a major promotion and my wife and I had left our baby girl at home with the babysitter.

My #1 goal for the night was to make a good impression on the CEO. I knew if I could win him over, that promotion was mine!

6. Read Out Loud. Research suggests reading aloud helps encode stronger memories because it stimulates more parts of the brain.
